Dual activity in research and business
As a Lekiro scientist you have a dual mission. You conduct research projects in pure and applied science and participate in company business activities. Research projects can be developed in house or with external private and public organizations. Business occupations comprise involvement in services provided by the company, and/or product developments. This dual occupation ensures our economic and political independence to develop research which matters to us and opens us to new horizons and opportunities. Your business load will be collegially decided on a case-by-case basis.

Maintaining high levels of creativity and performances calls for regular breaks. For this reason, we will always ensure that all employees never feel pressure to work late or during weekends, and that they are comfortable with taking their full holiday entitlement. One of the guarantees for this policy is the absence of quantitative evaluation of performance. In other words, producing more does not make you more valuable. We value you for your capacity to implement the highest standards in your work, and for your engagement with the development of Lekiro and its collaborators.

Flexible employment programs
Flexible employment programs
There are three employment programs at Lekiro depending on where you conduct research and business activities. i) If you conduct your research and business activities with us, you have a full-time contract with Lekiro. ii) If you conduct business activities with Lekiro and your research activity with us and/or with another organization, you have a part-time contract with Lekiro. iii) If you conduct temporary business duties for us, you have a service-provider contract with Lekiro.

Lekiro scientists conduct research in pure or applied science, with or without commercial applications.
Lekiro values creativity, enthusiasm, collaboration, therefore there are no specific criteria regarding career stage, origin, gender, and qualification. The decisive condition is a strong mutual interest and a shared scientific vision and societal values.
Lekiro seeks to open positions for the right candidates. We do not advertise positions, rather we identify candidates through meetings, surveying scientific output, and recommendations. We also welcome speculative applications.
